CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Entry Details
The BUENOS AIRES INTERNATIONAL MASTERS SQUASH OPEN 2007 will be held under the auspices of the leader National Associations and Confederations from South America and will be open to players of 30 years old and over, in the categories indicated on the entry form.
Entries are to be submitted on the official entry form and accompanied by the relevant fees. E-mails will be accepted but entries can only be confirmed once the relevant fees have been received, which must be no later than the entry deadline of 18 August 2007.
The closing date for the entry forms and fees is 18 August 2007.
Entrants MUST have reached their minimum applicable age by the first day of registration for the Championships i.e. September 5, 2007. Verification of all entrants’ date of birth will be required by passports / official Identity Documents with a photo upon arrival.
Entrants may only enter in one category. The Championships will be played between 6-9 September 2007, and all players must commit themselves to compete for the full duration of the Championships.
No prize money is offered.
Seeding will be undertaken by the BAIMSO 2007 Seeding Committee.
Venue and Match Control
Matches will be played at NAHUEN SQUASH CLUB as the main venue. This is the most important squash club in Buenos Aires City. The organizers reserve the right to use other approved venues should the need arise.
All matches are played to 5 games to 11 points (PSA rules).
All players are participating in zones of (4)four players each. The organizers will endeavor to provide at least three (3) matches for all players.
The BAIMSO 2007 Seeding Committee will seed entrants, based on the Player Profile information given.
Combining of events may occur if there are insufficient entries in a particular category.
The Championship Director reserves the right to disqualify any competitor who fails to be ready for play at the allocated time or amended time in conjunction with the tournament draw procedures. A match may be awarded to a player whose opponent fails to be present on court within 10 minutes of the advertised start time of the match.
The Main Venue is located within walking distance of major hotels in downtown Buenos Aires. The OFFICIAL HOTEL is HOTEL PANAMERICANO (www.panamericano.us), located 10 blocks away from the main venue. At this hotel, all players will find the complete schedule of events, parties and dinners organized for all 5 days of this Championship.
Players’ Responsibilities
The Championships will operate under the rules and regulations of the WSF.
All players must register with the Control Centre / Court Steward at the venue at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled match times, ready to play with the warming-up done.
Competitors’ clothing and attire will be in accordance with relevant regulations (*refer to http://www.worldsquash.org/) and the Technical Director will have the final word in any decision on acceptability.
Professional referees will be provided by the organization for every single match during the Tournament.
All players enter at their own risk. The Committee does not insure the participants or accept any responsibility for injury or loss arising from participation.

SOCIAL FUNCTIONS
The Opening Function, Welcome Party, Wine Festival and Farewell Function will take place at HOTEL PANAMERICANO. The main reason is to stage all the events at one venue, in order to avoid delays with “rush hours” and transportation problems in a large city with high traffic like Buenos Aires.
Nahuen Club and Hotel Panamericano (at the Irish Pub) will host Happy Hours every day, where they will have low prices for drinks between 6 – 7pm, a time to socialize with fellow players and guests. Different sponsors will also offer our players some free drinks in special happy hours organized by them.
FOOD
Hot and cold food will be available at the Main Venues for the players and their guests at their own expense. There are also restaurants in close proximity to most places of accommodation and recommendations will be made available in the player’s handbook. Of course, food and drinks are included in the Entry Fee for players for the Special Night Events as mentioned above.
PLAYER I.D
Photographs will be taken at registration for player and guest I.D cards.
DECLARATION AND INSURANCE CLAUSE
Players and all persons in attendance shall take all precautions to prevent damage or injury to themselves and any other person and property. No claims whatsoever will be recognized or entertained in respect of any injury or damage sustained by any player or person throughout the duration of the Championships. Neither will claims be entertained in respect of unforeseen partial or total cancellation of the event, nor will any refunds be entertained. The program is subject to change without notice.
I agree to abide by the rules and regulations governing the Championships and declare that I am aware of the doping regulations and procedures as set out in Section E and Appendix C of the WSF World Championships regulations (*refer http://www.worldsquash.org/). I accept that I may be drug tested under these regulations at any stage of the championships and subject to the penalties set out in the World Championship regulations, if the test(s) prove positive. I understand that this declaration also covers participation in plate events as applicable to these Championships.
As a player I accept all risks incidental to play and accept that I have no legal claim to any remedy for injuries received during or as a result of any game other than injuries caused by foul play or unfair acts by others amounting to negligence. I have noted the registration and cancellation details for the Championships, as well as the clauses above relating to insurance, and hereby agree to be bound by these provisions.
Payment must be in full net of all bank charges.
